Museum of Unused Apps

The Museum of Unused App Ideas

Where innovation meets the recycle bin.

Our Mission

At the Museum of Unused App Ideas, our goal is to celebrate the strange, the scrapped, and the almost brilliant. We believe that every idea-no matter how impractical, overambitious, or hilariously unnecessary-deserves a moment in the spotlight. This digital museum is dedicated to preserving the creative spark that fuels innovation, even when the concept never makes it past the sketch stage. Through showcasing student-generated app ideas, abandoned prototypes, and tongue-in-cheek concepts, we aim to remind visitors that failure is a vital part of creation. Each exhibit tells a story of curiosity, trial, and imagination, proving that innovation doesn’t end in the recycle bin-it just takes a different shape.

Spotlight Exhibit- Mood Garden

MoodGarden visualized emotions as living plants that grew or wilted with your mood entries. What started as a soothing mental health tracker quickly turned into a graveyard of forgotten greenery-a reminder that even good ideas need balance.
